Our new GIFT City campus in India has opened its doors. Queen’s University is the first Russell Group institution to establish a campus at GIFT City, bringing its tradition of world-class research, academic excellence and industry engagement directly into India’s leading financial and technology hub.
With India’s student population projected to grow significantly by 2047, the new campus places Queen’s at the heart of one of the fastest growing educational landscapes.
Leading the new campus is Dean Professor M Satish Kumar who has a wealth of experience, having worked across leading global institutions such as JNU, Cambridge, and Queen’s. After 25 years at Queen’s, Professor Kumar has taken up the role of Dean of the GIFT City campus. Satish has shared his vision for the new campus:
